Description
Little spring flowers nestle in the grass, or maybe the end of an egg peeks shyly out from its hiding place.
Celebrating new life from Easter to a new baby, soft colors in woven baskets are dear to our hearts. It seems like one day soft coos come from the basket and the next; there are squeals of delight over a new egg to put into the basket. Capture the fleeting moments in this one-of-a-kind, handmade, heirloom-quality ornament.
This ornament drape is made of more than 700 hand-strung beads and at least 2 yards of thread.
I free bead all my ornaments without a pattern. I usually start by sketching an idea or two, sometimes the beads themselves give me the ideas, sometimes things in my surroundings inspire me, then I grab beads, needle, thread, and start trying to make my ideas into reality.
